When Motown meets hip hop, it’s most def love at first sight. Tennessee producer Amerigo Gazaway has been cookin up a mash-up series that he’s appropriately called Soul Mates, on which he crochets diverse sounds from musical greats of then and now. His latest endeavor unites soul legend Marvin Gaye and venerable wordsmith Yasiin Bey – better known as Mos Def – bringing a collab that we wish would have been into fruition. Today he dropped visuals for a cut from the project called “Ms Fat Booty.“ Check them out after the jump and tell us how you feel about the sounds of Yasiin Gaye.
