KillerHipHop.com is a video blog which provides hip hop news, videos, performances, music and lyrics daily. I was born in the 80′s and grew up listening to Wu Tang, Snoop, Bone Thugs, Canibus, Chino XL, Jay-Z, Em, DMX, Nas, Pac and BIG. Of course there are too many to mention.

I enjoy going to concerts and watching live performances (this is starting to sound like a CV, pause!). My first concert was Busa Buss. He tore the house down even though the venue was half empty. Then I have been lucky enough to see Jay-Z perform live on 3 separate occasions. I have also seen Nas, Lupe Fiasco, Rick Ross, Talib Kweli, Kano and MC Solaar. Most recently I have seen Lil Wayne, Wale and J. Cole perform live. Talib Kweli was cool. I bumped into him outside the venue after the show and he was kind enough to let me and my friends take photos with him.

This site started in early 2009 as a new kind of hip hop video blog which aims to document the rap game with sounds, pictures, videos and lyrics. I’m not trying to cover every possible hip hop song that is released as that would be impossible. However I hope to cover enough so that I can look back on the site and get a good snapshot of what hip hop was like during that time. Feel free to join me on this journey and help me document hip hop by submitting lyrics, music or video’s. It’s also interesting to watch new artists grow and develop over time. If you feel that I’m sleeping on any artists feel free to hit me up on twitter and facebook and I’ll take a listen.

Where possible I credit and link to all my sources. Likewise I would expect you to do the same. I transcribe brand new lyrics for the benefit of hip hop fans so they can better understand the music. I have immense respect for the artists and song writers who spill their emotions out on paper and express themselves in a creative way for our enjoyment. I would appreciate a link back if you use lyrics that I spent time to transcribe.

Artists put themselves out there to gain big rewards and therefore expect some criticism along the the way.

Feel free to leave your opinions in the comments. We would love to hear what fellow fans think of the artists as well. Please keep it clean as there are enough Internet gangsters out there. Racist and generally hateful comments will not get approved despite many that tried.
