When Motown meets hip hop, it’s most def love at first sight. Tennessee producer Amerigo Gazaway has been cookin up a mash-up series that he’s appropriately called Soul Mates, on which he crochets diverse sounds from musical greats of then and now. His latest endeavor unites soul legend Marvin Gaye and venerable wordsmith Yasiin Bey – better known as Mos Def – bringing a collab that we wish would have been into fruition. Today he dropped visuals for a cut from the project called “Ms Fat Booty.“ Check them out after the jump and tell us how you feel about the sounds of Yasiin Gaye.

New Music: Rav.P x NatNaiel x Julius Myth – “flyN*ggaSayWHA”
Rav.P is an artist/producer that may represent both sides of the Hudson, but he does this music thing for the world at large … hence his other moniker Passport Rav.
He recently enlisted fellow emcees Julius Myth and NatNaiel for a track that the trifecta’s dubbed “flyN*ggaSayWHA.” The three self-proclaimed fly gentlemen (or are they?) make a lyrical exchange over some psychedelic production laid down by Rav.P himself.

Video: Robbie Maxx – “The Intro”
He may just be making his first stain on our killer codified sheets, but rest assured that Robbie Maxx has plenty more ammo in store…this is merely “The Intro.”
The New Jersey representative let go of his latest visuals yesterday for a track on which he narrates a no-holds-barred version of his journey in hip hop. Robbie liberates the demons that casted a shadow of doubt over the limelight in which he strives to find his place, declaring that ultimately, he will find his way.
