Video: Game Says ‘Jesus Piece’ Is Like The 2012 ‘Chronic’
Game is obviously very confident with his body of work coming up on Jesus Piece. In a sit down with MTV, Game says that Jesus Piece is “kind of like a 2012 Chronic album, if you will.”
Much like 1992’s Chronic that had a handful of guests, Jesus Piece will also be covered in features. For those complaining about the features, Game advises them to “go buy the Documentary or download one of them 10,000 free mixtapes.”
On this album, Game went on a Dj Khaled rampage and recruited a bunch of rapper friends to talk about Jesus. But “it’s not a Christian album,” says Game. It’s just an album that will look at how the streets interact with religion. Jesus Piece is due out later this year.
