Video: Tijon – “eastside”
Tijon pays homage to the late legend Christopher Wallace – among other notorious hip hop icons – as he flaunts his flow flawlessly over Biggie’s “The What”… all in the name of his beloved “eastside.“ The Mike O’Brien directed visuals capture the Jersey-bred emcee with his cohort of creatives partaking in whatever shenanigans they so choose – from egging a suit with an eviction notice, to blowing it down in the basement of the house from which they were just asked to leave.
Who said Jersey wasn’t gangsta?
Tijon’s “eastside” came to fruition when he was approached by Hot 97’s DJ Juanyto, who wanted him to lay something down for his Young New York mixtape. No doubt, he’s satisfied with the final product.
“eastside” too will live on Tijon’s forthcoming rats EP.

The rat king’s in the building about to take his million. Tijon, the versatile indie emcee based in New Jersey, recently let loose a fresh set of visuals for his “Rocky Sullivan” freestyle produced by Street Racer Productions.
Per usual, Tijon cohesively intertwines potent lyricism, unparalleled creativity and a message into his artistry, both in terms of the music and the accompanying visual experience.
The video’s prefaced by the announcement that we can expect Tijon‘s next project entitled rats come the new year.

Cole, and Big K.R.I.T. to name a few, and is the latest victor of Hot97’s showcase as determined by Peter Rosenberg, Prodigy, and producer Buda Da Future. Read more
