Eminem – Careful What You Wish For (Relapse Bonus Track)
This is another bonus track from Eminem’s Relapse album called “Careful what you wish for”. This is one of the more introspective songs on Relapse.
The intro reminds everyone about all the turmoil he has been through over the last few years and the song continues into his current situation being “divorced, re-married, a felon, a father, a sleeping pill addict”.
Careful what you wish for highlights the pressure of “fame to the point of imprisonment” with Eminem justifying the song title. This bonus track is a great addition to the Relapse album and shows that Eminem can still rap in a normal voice and show his personal side.
The music player also includes the other bonus track and you can read my thoughts on the Relapse bonus track “My Darling” which I reviewed earlier.
Let me know what you think of the song “Careful What you wish for”.
Eminem Interview and Performs Beautiful, 3AM & We Made You
Eminem performs Beautiful, 3AM and We Made You in a session with Zane Lowe for Radio 1.
In the interview Eminem states that he wrote the first verse for Beautiful when he was in rehab. It was the only track from the album which was written in his “un-sober” days when he was still on drink and drugs.
Eminem – My Darling (Relapse Bonus Track)
Eminem has released two bonus tracks for people who buy the Relapse CD. This includes one of them called “My Darling”.
No doubt Eminem kills this track. The concept behind “My Darling” is brilliant. Eminem’s “Slim Shady” persona talks to him and tries to possess him. As Eminem says in the song “all shady is is a bottle of hair bleach and vodka” and Eminem then tries to kill Shady to no avail as it’s inside him.
At the end of the track the two voices merge into one. Genius. Eminem has stated that relapse is not just about his drug problems but also his relapse back into his darker Slim Shady side.
Slim Shady is back. Listen to track above and let me know you think.
UPDATE: The original video didn’t work above due to YouTube copy write issues so I posted both bonus tracks above courtesy of Reverb Nation including the Bonus track “Careful what you wish for”.
Eminem – 3 AM Video – New Video from Relapse
This is Eminem’s new 3AM video from his latest album the Relapse. The video shows graphic scenes of violence, death and horror. Don’t watch it if you are sensitive to these themes.
The 3 AM video is very dark and violent and shows Eminem in a mental hospital. This video is a stark contrast from his first video from Relapse “We made it” which was very humorous and poked fun at several celebrities.
Check it out above and let me know what you think. Can Eminem get away with these types of videos?
