You’re Killin’ Me: Andy Levy

August 23, 2011 · Posted in beef, news · 22 Comments

Andy Levy? Who is this guy? Well I’m not too sure but he’s on FOX News for some reason, and he’s killin’ me. I don’t know too much about Mr. Levy, but I do know that he’s the type of guy that will ask to borrow your phone, then he’ll start looking through your texts. What is this dude doing. Who told him he’s Affion Crockett. Tweeting “you spelled punching wrong” was pointless, and tasteless.

I’m not defending Chris Brown by any means. What he did was horrible. But, he’s human, and sadly humans make mistakes. I didn’t have to forgive Chris Brown because he didn’t do anything to me; the only person he should’ve apologized to is Rihanna. Breezy is a talented dude, and I would be doing my ears wrong if I didn’t listen to him. The point here is that Chris Brown made a mistake, and he’s paid for his mistake. I am nobody to judge. I just listen to music. Joe Arpaio could be the next Biggie. I’ll still buy his music, I just love music. I don’t care about rappers personal lives to be honest. Jay Z is probably a horrible guy, I don’t really know, and I don’t care.

Now back to what’s his name? Oh…wait..yea…ummm…Andy…….Levy! Seriously, what was the point of tweeting that. I honestly think he’s trying to knock Affion Crockett off his spot on FOX. He tries to make Chris Brown look horrible, but he’s the horrible one. Who jokes about domestic violence? The whole newscast was LOL’n like crazy! “Oh Rihanna got punched in the face, she was freaking bleeding all over man, LOL”. Not funny at all, it is tasteless to be exact.

Andy Levy, I’m probably not the first person to tell you this, but you’re not funny. I’m not justifying what Chris did, but what you did was uncalled for. Then, you apologize while joking about Rihanna getting beat up. The most important person in this whole deal probably wants to forget about it, but the media will not shut up. Chris Brown will forever have an “assault” on his criminal record, so there is no point in you reminding everybody what Chris Brown did. Like I said, Rihanna probably wants us to forget about it.

Andy Levy, you’re killin’ me.

I could probably go on and on about this topic and Andy Levy and how pathetic he is but I’ll try and sum up my points.

Andy Levy is on Fox News, ’nuff said.

Like you said, why should the fans be mad at Chris Brown because the media and the court system let celebrities get away with every thing that they do? It’s not the fans’ fault that the court system is flawed. Had it been anyone else, they would probably have done time or could still be doing time but perhaps luckily for Brown, he’s a celebrity and you can say that it’s not lucky for him because now he’s dealing with this kind of B-S as opposed to having people forget about it a few days later.

Andy Levy has nothing better to do on Fox News but bother celebrities that probably don’t care about what he says and don’t know who he is.

In the end – Chris Brown and Rihanna will continue to have love and hate from different people and Andy Levy can go somewhere.

I just want to say, love the site, love the content, love what you all are doing.

But I just want to say whatever jokes come at Chris Brown he deserves.

There is a long and worthwhile debate that can be discussed about the transgressions of said Chris Brown. but lets just keep is simple for simple’s sake.

Chris brown did a terrible thing.

Whatever this andy levy guy did was ten million times less terrible.

Chris Brown has to realize that his life will never be the same.
(much like Bill Clinton, Kobe Bryant, Michael Vick)

So he must adjust knowing he really can’t speak on about women in any way but respectful.

In many ways Chris Brown speaking about women just brings back his past.

and opens avenues for the jokes and attacks.

If he knew better he would join the path of Michael Vick and turn it into a positive and help Women that have been abused much like Vick has helped dogs.

I just want to end by thanking you for having your column and allowing comments for proactive discussions and debates about various topics.

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK KHH!

seriously i usually agree with most of the opinions on the you’re killin me articles but not this time (for the most part).

maybe chris brown has a criminal record but it’s really sad to see he still has a career.

on the other side i totally about rihanna probably wanting to forget all of this. but i find it easily justifiable to point out the evidences on chris brown’s behavior to remind people (other than rihanna) of what he did. because apparently, as of right now, a woman beater with obvious anger management problems is a cool guy if he’s good looking can dance and sing.

Are you mad at Andy levy or mad because he’s a white man? Chris Brown gets made fun of constantly by black comedians and most recently was compared to Ike Turner by Frank Ocean on twitter. Where was the YKM on that? I agree fox news is a sorry excuse for “news” but you got to stop drinking the koolaid too

He’s not trying to hard. I totally agree with you Quez!

Although it’s not right what Chris Brown did, the affair is between him and Rihanna. I think it’s not right what Andy Levy did.

If you had a fight with your mom, wouldn’t it be crazy if I was going to make jokes about it? Just the fact that these two people are famous does not make any significant changes to the fact that it is a matter between two people.

The situation is dealt with by the police and Rihanna wants to forget about it, so why don’t we let Chris and Rihanna alone? It’s their problem, not the problem of some random guy.

Its a comedians place to make jokes about things.. fox news could’ve done countless things with their segment other than make fun of chris brown (cover the Libya rebellion, the failing economy, hell even a petty bank robbery).. I completely agree with you quez chris brown has to live with what he did every day, and him getting away with it does not make it seem like its a “cool thing to do” and him getting away with it wont increase or decrease the rate of assaults on women. Its a parents job to teach their children that you should never hit a woman they shouldn’t need a celebrity to teach them if its ok to do that or not.

YOU FORGIVE BUT YOU NEVER FORGET! YALL CAN FORGIVE CHRIS BROWN ALL YALL WANT BUT HIM BEING A WOMAN BEATER WILL NEVER GO AWAY NO MATTER HOW MUCH HE APOLOGIZES OR HOW MUCH “GOOD MUSIC” HE MAKES. SO GET OVER IT. PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS MAKE FUN OF HIM BECAUSE WE ARE JUST ONLY HUMAN. JUST BECAUSE HE IS FAMOUS DOESN’T MEAN HE GETS OFF EASY. HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A NORMAL HUMAN AND GOT THERAPY FOR HIS ANGER PROBLEMS. AND THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN FORGIVE HIM TRULY IS RIHANNA. AND THE ONLY WAY TO GET THE PUBLIC TO FORGIVE HIM IS IF HE AND RIHANNA TALK ABOUT THIS PUBLICLY TO PHYSICALLY END THIS. BUT WE WILL NEVER FORGET. IVE ALWAYS HATED CHRIS BROWN AND ALWAYS WILL. HE CAN’T EVEN RAP WITH HIS NO DANCING ASS. AND HE IS NOT MICHEAL JACKSON!!!! AND I AM NOT HATING I AM SPEAKING THE TRUTH.

    @OrangeCats,

Speaking the truth, more like shouting the truth with the caps lock on. Anyway, his being famous DOES mean he gets off easy. Both the media and court system allow for this and there’s nothing anyone can do about it because no one tries. Yeah, the jokes will keep on coming but they’re unnecessary and tasteless, like Quez stated.

@MzDinaaa, Whatever. You sound like a dumb chris brown fan. He completely made no sense. AND I CAN USE CAPS IF I WANT TO BITCH! YALL BOTH NEED TO STOP SUCKING HIS DICK! I CAN’T WAIT TIL A MAN BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF YOUR ASS AND THEN YOU MIGHT CHANGE YOUR MIND!

This comment right here —-> “He tries to make Chris Brown look horrible, but he’s the horrible one. Who jokes about domestic violence?” you sound stupid as shit. You sound like a hypocrite and your contradicting yourself. Who jokes about domestic violence? Who uses domestic violence!!!????? So what your saying is lets not make fun of chris brown because he is only human and we should forget that he is a woman beater. He probably had a burst of anger and its ok for him to be a child and take out his anger on rihanna’s face. Okay. I see where your going. No wonder you like lil b…….. so sad…..

And oh yea. His criminal record reminds him everyday about who he is so we should not add to it…. this whole article was so stupid. I thought you was gonna make sense but you didn’t. I’m disappointed in this YKM. You must of been either high or must have a guy crush on chris brown. Did chris brown write this?

dont bash quez.. he has an opinion.. just like everyone else. with that said.. i dont have a problem with people making jokes about the chris brown situation…. as long as those people are comedians. i have no clue who andy levy is.. but when you hold a job as a news anchor.. you cannot bring yourself down to this level. you have to be impartial..unbiased..and keep some sort of distance from the stories you report on. when you are a news anchor.. you lose a public opinion. its much different from a journalist. (but this IS fox news.. what should we expect)

and as for the entire chris brown situation.. let it go. the man is TRYING to move on with his life from that stage. there will forever be that dark stain.. but do we really have to continuously address it? dont get me wrong.. domestic violence is completely unacceptable.. but when both parties involved have seemingly reconciled to a point.. im thinking everyone NOT involved can learn to find other things to occupy their time with. comedians do it because its their JOB. there isnt any reason for any other public figure to speak on it.. or even voice an opinion. and i agree completely with the idea of separate professional and personal lives. thats what happens so many times with athletes. they are placed on this moral pedestal..looked to as role models.. all because of their play on the court..course..field..etc. we have NO idea about these peoples’ personal lives..we have no clue who they are behind closed doors.. but somehow feel betrayed when they make a mistake. we fail to realize that these people are nothing but humans like us all.. and like us all.. they are not perfect. stop expecting athletes..musicians..and actors to be the guiding light for how to live.. and you’ll stop being disappointed. respect them for what they do.. professionally.

i could go on.. but i digress. quez.. keep going.. just dont get too riled up over these ykm’s. stop taking people so seriously.

lol clearly my last post didn’t get through to you numb-skulls so let me put it in your language ….

yo is you guys fo’ really ….. you guys dont know ish about ish man …. how you gonna say only comedians is allowed to make fun of him b? so domestic violence victims aren’t allowed to make fun of him? ok ……. where can I get my comedians license/permit so I can be makin fun of Breezy as much as I want. Have you peoplez ever watched Colbert or Jon Stewart? Funny news beats boring news any day. Is it not obvious to you foolz dat dis anchor is the comedic relief of this show? Seriously? I don’t even have to research this guy to know that he is the comedic relief on this particular show. Sorry for breaking out of character and using proper english ….. anywayz b … if it isn’t obvious by this guys tweet that he is the comedic relief of his network … maybe it slipped the mindz of you gza da geniuses … maybe a more intellectual evaluation will spur your mindz. His tone ……. listen to his tone ….. the timing …. its pure dry humor/ sarcasm, its sardonic … any real man whose commented on this should have seen the ESPN show “Jim Rome is Burning” at one point in his life or another …. its the same dam tone ….. is he a comedian? …….. no ……… is his show funny? yes …….. let it go people ….. stop seeing color and only see the truth ….. you and your friends have made fun of chris brown before ….. just cuz a white man did it now … dont come running to his defense … that makes you a hypocrite ….

full disclosure: latin male, fan of this site, fan of rap, african-american enthusiast, hater of hypocrites, hater of women beaters.

    @Chris Brown,

all due respect.. but fox news has no comedic relief. if anyone is the comedic relief for fox.. its bill o’reilly. and yeah people may have made fun of chris brown with their friends.. but we dont have the world watching us like they do. we dont hold positions like they do. our jokes are behind closed doors. he KNEW this would be seen.. and all it does is follow fox news’ bias against african american entertainers. the same way they had a problem with common going to the white house. everything isnt all black & white.. open up your eyes.

    Jon Reply:

@pack, I agree with you bro, but I think you’re missing a little of the point this guy was trying to make. I think he was trying to say that it is obviously a race thing, so people should not try to cover it up with trying to defend a victimizer. Also I read his earlier comment and he said he’s totally against fox news so I doubt he is trying to defend them. It totally is a race thing, Fox news doesn’t just have a problem with african american entertainers, they have a problem with african americans period man. They have pure anti-Obama press running like 24/7. And the Common going to the white house thing is a perfect example you brought up. But Bill O’Reilly is not funny? He’s funny to us because we have the ability to rationalize that he is out of his mind. Like Glen Beck is funny to us. But the White republicans who watch that O’Reily and Beck, believe every crazy word those 2 guys say as truth. So thats not funny at all, its actually sad the deeper you look into it. It’s sad that people watch those shows and believe the insanity. This Andy Levy guy did have some funny lines lol But it goes both ways man, I can’t tell you how many Casey Anthony jokes I’ve heard from left wing reporters, people who also know the camera in front of them is recording them and broadcasting them to the nation bro. I don’t support the actions of Casey Anthony or Chris Brown, and I don’t support extremist left wing views or extremist right wing views either. I’m fully aware as it seems you are as well, that there is plenty of racial tension left in this nation, more than people are willing to accept. And to your point about behind closed doors or w/e ….. I prefer to watch the people who have the balls to say what I’m thinking to myself, in front of a camera to the world, people like Colbert, Daniel Tosh, George Carlin and others. Although those are all comedians, I wish there was a news source who didn’t have to be “Politically Correct” and just say what they really feel. I’d watch that news. Republicans do it more than Democrats, why? Cuz they OWN these news outlets, because they say what they want when they want and people just take it as humor when its not, for example, Bill O’Reilly and Glen Beck, and I’m far from Republican so I watch none of those shows.
