Government Shuts Down Swizz Beatz’ Megaupload

Yesterday we reported that Swizz Beatz, the CEO of Megaupload was in a legal battle with Universal Music Group. Today it seems that Swizz has lost that battle, because the federal government has shut down the popular file sharing website, which was at one point the 13th most popular site in the world. The feds accuse Megaupload of costing copyright holders more than $500 million in lost revenue. Damn, that jungle is now useless. Time to delete it off the iPod.

    @2, smfh umm no i cant download movies or software from there. Soooo I guess ill stick to rapidshare, mediafire, fileserve, filesonic, etc… i just really had a preference for megaupload =p
