J.Cole wants some attention. How can you make a tribute beat too aaliyah if you were only 15. Also you said you starting rapping/producing in college. Unless you make that beat a few years ago when nobody was checkin on you.

Your story isn’t adding up J.Cole just focus on your debut album and play “Rock the boat” in her honor today.

^^ No disrespect but you don’t even know how the question came about and I’m sure before someone sold a painting they was in their room drawing. Meaning before someone came on with rapping/ production, he could be making beats. I had a casio lil keyboard and used to make beats/ “songs” all the time as a kid. Not that I consider myself a musician by any means. His producing had to start somewhere. Who didn’t have an Aaliyah crush? I was devastated when she died like someone killed my big sister. We all mourn in our own way. Let Cole be Cole.
