News: Rihanna Chasing Michelle Pfeiffer’s Role On ‘Scarface’ Remake

Universal Pictures is giving the iconic Scarface a 21st century makeover. Obviously, Scarface needs a new cast and according to The Sun, Rihanna hopes to be on that cast as the leading lady. Yes, she wants to play the one and only Elvira Hancock originally played by Michelle Pfeiffer.
A source close to the situation says, “Rihanna loves Scarface. Some of her music videos have been based on Michelle’s character, Elvira. She knows all the words and even has her walk perfected.”

yea this is an absolutely horrendous idea…its just gonna be a 21st century cheesy version of scarface…pure action..no acting script or directing…this is like re-releasing biggies ready to die with a different rapper, producer and everything…terrible idea…just no…i hope they shit can this idea…theyre just remaking it cuz ppl like blood and the “tough talking” scenes..forgetting like..oh yea brian de palma directed it and al pacino mastered it…guy should get a honorary oscar for that roll..fuck the academy. and i mean, we can see how serious they are by giving rihanna even the time of day to try to play michelle pheiphers roll…really…michelle pheiper is a great actress that people don’t take seriously enough cuz she just made the part look easy…got her walk down…haha..arite based on the reception battleship received, i don’t think shed do a very good job.
