You’re Killin’ Me: Rap Trolls
Last week I went in on rappers with lame hustle. This wouldn’t be America without equality, would it? That’s right you’re next. Well rap fans with lame comments; that’s who’s next. I’ve had it with you trolls, and your smart alec comments. YouTube currently has one of the biggest troll populations per capita. Let me elaborate. I don’t care where Weezy would be if ‘Pac were still here. I don’t care how many dislikes this video has. I swear, on every video there is someone with a comment such as, “500 people don’t have racks on racks”. Not clever, not funny, I usually mark them as spam. You’re killin’ me.

The comparisons have to stop. 2Pac and Biggie were great rappers. Comparing them to Wayne and Rick Ross is unfair, because they rap in 2 different era’s of Hip Hop, where fans have different tastes in music. Rappers simply fulfill the demands of their fans. Why would Wayne change his style? Tha Carter III sold 1 million units in 1 week! That’s 6 zeros, 1,000,000 units! If it’s not broken don’t fix it. Trolls don’t seem to understand this concept. The rap troll phenomenon isn’t exclusive to Wayne or Rozay videos. Go on almost any YouTube video by any rapper on the Top 100, and you will see this occur. Guaranteed, and it’s killin’ me!
Besides Wayne and ‘Pac being incomparable, I couldn’t care less about where Tune would be if 2Pac were still alive. I know 2Pac is better than Wayne, he’s better than anybody else to ever step in the booth. I came to this video to listen to Weezy murder this verse on “I’m On One”, not to be reminded that 2Pac is better than Lil’ Wayne. Stop it, you’re killin’ me!
Comments such as, “347 people don’t hustle hard” or “295 people don’t do it” have to stop. Incase you haven’t caught on, a troll figures out the number of dislikes then inserts it into the formula: [# of dislikes] don’t [name of song]. Computing this formula is rather exhausting for a troll, hence they ask for a thumbs up afterward, which serves as a form of payment for the trolls hard work. Ladies and gentlemen don’t feed the trolls by giving them a thumbs up, simply reply with, “you’re killin’ me”.
Next time you see someone compare two rappers without any sort of relevance to the video, or use the formula stated above please pick up the phone, and call your local congressman, and inform them of the atrocities happening in these internet streets. In addition, I beg you to pray every night and hope that comments like these one day stop. Thank you, that is all.
Rap trolls, you’re killin’ me.
