Video: The-Dream – “Wake Me When It’s Over”

In this dramatic video for “Wake Me Up When It’s Over,” The-Dream storms between the ups and downs of a relationship.  The song is featured on his upcoming album, 1977, and forthcoming commercial release, in stores December 18.

The singer-songwriter documents the demise of his relationship over the verbal abuse he received from his girlfriend.  She leaves him to find another man, who ends up taking advantage of her.  A damsel in distress, she calls up Dream.

1977 includes new and previously released material from The-Dream’s 2011 mixtape, with appearances from Pharrell (“Real”) and Big Sean (“Ghetto”).
