Video: Kendrick Lamar Says “Fans Won’t Get 2nd Album For A While”
Kendrick Lamar was one of the headliners at this year’s Powerhouse in Phoenix. Power 98 DJ, Bootleg Kev, talked to K.Dot about Good Kid, m.A.A.d. City, his project with J. Cole, Sherane, Shyne, and his album being a classic.
When asked about a sophomore album, Kendrick said fans “probably won’t get a second album for a while.” He probably wants GKMC to sink in, or he wants to take his time on the second album. Either way, prepare for a Kendrick drought.
Hit the break for Kendrick’s performace of “Westside Right On Time.”

Probably because his 2nd album will be the Cole colab and his 2nd solo album will be delayed due to that
