Video: Drake Accepts BMI Songwriter Of The Year Award
Drizzy picked up the BMI Songwriter Of The Year Award at the BMI Urban Awards in Hollywood last night. He thanked Kanye West, Andre 3000 and Phonte from Little Brother for inspiring him in his career.
He also dedicated the award to his mother and thanked his uncle for motivating him after Sylvia Rhone, the President of Universal Motown Records, said he wouldn’t make it in the music industry.
