Video: David Banner On Trayvon Martin Shooting
The always outspoken David Banner sits down with Black Enterprise and expresses his frustration over the death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. Many speculate that Martin’s death was motivated by race. Banner passionately calls for change in both the culture, and in D.C.

this is ridiculous. why does everything have to be about race? nobody even knows what really happened but yet everyone is claiming racist and a hate crime. the media turned this whole thing into race war setting us back 100 years

@MosDef, First of all I can almost 100% assume that you both are not Black. Then I can also go further to say that racial stereotypes & profiling still goes on today, and if you’re not Black then you have absolutely NO IDEA what we are talking about. I love ALL ppl but being a black person (especially male) in America is difficult at times. I still feel the stares and see the concern in “Others” faces when I come around, & I do not sag my jeans nor wear gold teeth etc, but yes I do have dreadlocks which have a spiritual meaning to me so…Maybe you don’t look at all of us in a negative way but there are PLENTY that do and until you can walk in our shoes, you’ll never know, just as much as I’ll never know what it feels like to be a woman!!!
