Up-And-Coming: Rob Killa (Beats By KillerHipHop Winner)

January 20, 2012 · Posted in exclusive, Music, upcoming · 5 Comments

Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, Rob Killa brought us a great freestyle. He had everything we were looking for. The lyricism and flow really caught our attention with the KHH staff. We put Rob as one of our top contenders, then when deliberation came the majority pointed towards Rob Killa.

For Rob Killa’s music, check after the jump

With the name that comes from Wu-Tang inspirations, Rob Killa is a 22-year-old emcee coming from Chicago. He is a student at Columbia College and is following aspirations of graduating as a Music Business major, but if things keep going good for him, who needs school? (just kidding, stay in school kids).

Rob Killa brings a Chicago lyricism with NYC flow. His voice also brings an edge that reminds me of a young J. Cole. With the strive of want to succeed Rob Killa delivers it not only in that freestyle but in these two songs, Birds Fly High &  The Killer Returns. Killa just straight murders these tracks and has a consistent flow on both of them. KHH readers get use to Rob Killa, cause I guarantee that this is only the beginning.
