Pharrell took to the stage at the 2014 Academy Awards to perform his Oscar nominated song “Happy”. The song appeared on the soundtrack to the movie Despicable Me 2 and was nominated for Best original Song. The Award eventually went to Frozen’s “Let It Go”.
