News: Missy Elliott Releasing New Singles On Labor Day Weekend

The Missy Elliott drought might be over. After only dropping guest verses for people like J. Cole, Missy is finally getting back on the horse solo, and Timbaland took to twitter to break the news. According to Timbo, Missy will be dropping two new singles called “9th Inning” and “Triple Threat.” She’ll drop them over Labor Day weekend. Both singles are off her upcoming album titled Block Party.

Missy later responded to Timbaland’s tweet with, “@Timbaland lol! Betta let em know don’t expect the ass shake music we always do. Time 2 go more futuristic:)”
