News: Lil Wayne Opens Skate Park In New Orleans
September 27, 2012 · Posted in news · 3 Comments
Lil Wayne returned to his hometown of New Orleans and cut the ribbon on a new skate park built in a partnership with Mountain Dew and GLU Agency.
The park is located in the lower 9th ward, one of the most devastated parts of the city after Hurricane Katrina. According to The AP, “The park will be a gathering place where residents have been slow to return since Katrina hit seven years ago. Flooding pushed homes off their foundations, and many blocks remain vacant and overgrown by weeds.”
Musically, Wayne is getting ready to drop I Am Not A Human Being 2 in November December. Stay Tune’d.
