G.O.O.D. Music’s Cruel Summer collaborative album has been pushed back yet again. According to FSD, the album will now drop on September 18th, well into the Fall season, and 2 weeks after its previous September 4th date. Although it’s dropping in the Fall, we hope it’s still hot.

Instead of cruel summer change the title to Cruel Fall or Cruel Antumn. I still going to give them album a listen since “Mercy” was a cool song.

Umm, it will still be summer smh Summer doesn’t end til september 21 or 22. But Mos Def will indeed be on it :) And no they are finalizing it. This will be the best album this year, hands down!

@Jorge, Exactly these niggas dumb seasons don’t go off months it goes by the Equinoxes which falls on September 22 meaning September 18th is the LAST tuesday of the summer so there can be NO more pushbacks

In the U.S., Labor Day signifies the end of Summer and the start of Fall. Labor Day lands on the 1st Monday of September, so that’s Sept. 3rd this year. Many meteorologists also consider September 1st to be the start of Autumn.

@Quez, It signifies the Summer is coming to a close it’s the last holiday in the summer hence why a lot of people consider it the last day to have a cookout

I think the point is if you were promoting a Movie and you’re like, “COMING THIS SUMMER WHAT WHAT MOVIE” it would be kinda questionable dropping it at the tail end of summer as most people look past the technicalities and consider September a Fall month or here in S.A. Spring. . Thats why this is such an issue
