News: 2 Chainz Arrested In New York

2 Chainz has been arrested for possession of brass knucklez. Earlier today, 2 Chainz was arrested at LaGuardia Airport in New York after TSA agents found some brass knuckles in his carry-on bag. He was headed to a show in North Carolina.

At roughly 1:45pm EST, 2 Chainz was taken into custody for possession of a criminal weapon. 2 Chainz is still in custody. Reps tell TMZ that they’re “handling the situation.”

UPDATE: The brass knuckles are in fact a four finger ring (pictured below). The ring reads “DOPE.” TSA mistook the ring for brass knuckles and arrested 2 Chainz. According to TMZ, he is still in police custody.

UPDATE #2: 2 Chainz is now free and tweeting.
