MTV has revealed a shortlist of 25 for the 2011 “Hottest MC’s” list.
The list may surprise you!!! No J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller, Tech N9ne, MGK or Big K.R.I.T. Interesting!

Hope Lloyd Banks and Young Jeezy at least crack the list at least, would be a shame if they didn’t. Cold Corner 2 and TM 103 were great

Before everyone starts sayin kendrick lamar, j cole, and big krit should be on this list.. Let’s be real this list is more of a lifetime achievment thing. They have the buzz of being new to the game. They all need to deliver a little more before saying they deserve to be on this list…Not sayin I think there music hasn’t been better than most of the guys on the list but they haven’t been in the game long enough to get hate for being famous. And in my opinion Eminem is going to lose his crown to kanye with jay being 2nd. Em will come in third just because watch the throne was a legit album and hell the sequel was just a bunch of songs thrown together. Em still had the hottest verse’s all year though. Subliminals all over hell the sequel. Gotta love me some classic slim shady

@Curt, it is not even about the albums, its just that it’s the “Hottest of 2011,” c’mon son J. Cole had the world buzzing not just America about his new album and it had the #1 spot for god sake, Yelawolf had a good album, Kendrick Lamar’s Section.80 was amazing, Maino ain’t really show nothing in 2011, Meek Mills was just a feature artist most the time, 2 Chainz got popular because the B.E.T Awards, French Montana that’s all I am going to say about him cause that’s all that is need to be said, Big Sean did ok but wasn’t the hottest
