March 3, 2011 · Posted in interview, Videos · 3 Comments

Lil Wayne sat down with MTV and spoke about the infamous “Baby Money” line by Jay-Z in the song H.A.M.

“I’m like really, half a billi, n-gga, really you got Baby money, Keep it real with n-ggas, n-ggas ain’t got my lady money.”

Lil Wayne stated that Kanye played the song to him personally in a studio session and further stated:

“The subject that he’s talking about in that line, I can’t box with the God with that. I’d be the first one to tell you that, given my wit, and the type of person that I am, I’d capitalize and I’d play off of it.”

Birdman once claimed that YMCMB is sellin the most now and thus making the most money, directly frontin Jay-Z. In that line Jay-Z is sayin that this is ridiculous cuz he is worth more than $ 500 million and that YMCMB only got a few bucks (“baby” money) compared to him and even his girl beyonce got more cheddar to blow.
