KillerHipHop Exclusive: r.O.b. – Hometown

July 25, 2012 · Posted in downloads, exclusive, Videos · 3 Comments

A couple months ago, we introduced the KHH audience to an up-and-comer who goes by the name of r.O.b. His name has truly caused a swirl within the Hip-Hop  bloggin’ community.

The song “Hometown” is the new single coming of  r.O.b.’s highly-anticipated mixtape Circa XXV. The song delivers a hype out-of-the-ordinary. This record makes you wanna hit your ill two-step, while you have your cold 40 oz. in your right hand at a block party during a hot summer night in NYC. Produced By 78 West, the video is a metaphor representing the constant interruptions one can face while in pursuit of a goal or dream and the drive it takes to still reach the ultimate goals. Video directed by Maurice Zarzuela and Ola Bijan. was honored when we were asked to be the first blog to post the visuals for “Hometown” (above). Circa XXV is coming out later this year.
