Jay-Z Overlooking the Barclays Center – ‘The City Is Mine’

October 6, 2012 · Posted in news, pictures · 2 Comments

Talk about inspiration!  The Roc Nation leader has captured the essence of his song, “The City Is Mine,” in an epic photo in which he is overlooking the streets of Brooklyn and admiring the Barclays Center at his old spot, 560 State Street.

Jay-Z wrote on his Life + Time website, “On the roof at 560 State St. Words can’t describe.”

Over the past few nights at the Center, Jay has headlined multiple shows, featuring guests such as Big Daddy Kane and Memphis Bleek to welcome the Brooklyn Nets to their new home.   Spotted in the crowd were superstars such as his wife Beyoncé, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Pharrell, Big Sean, J.Cole, Rita Ora, and Bow Wow.

The final concert will be on Saturday and will be streaming live so those outside of New York City can watch and enjoy.

Will you be tuning in?
