Jay-Z Interview with Funkmaster Flex and Mister Cee
Jay-Z talks about his new song DOA (Death of Autotune) with Funkmaster Flex and Mister Cee on Hot 97.
Jay-Z talks about over paying for his album the Blueprint 3. He states that “success is being around people you most comfortable with, it’s not about money”. Therefore he didn’t get the best deal with the record company to make the album.
Jigga also addresses the auto tune situation saying that he is not hating on people that have used auto tune but just that time is up on it. He states that “T-pain writes great melodies” and “Kanye’s Heartless is fantastic” however it is now over used.
