Picture: Jay-Z Covers Q Magazine Oct 2010
Jay-Z covers the October edition of the UK plublication Q Magazine.
Jay-Z talks about his rivalry with Nas and his relationship with Coldplay singer Chris Martin. He goes on to say that if he met Chris in his younger days he would have tried to rob him.
“That’s a different scenario. He couldn’t walk through Marcy. I was a different person then. I wasn’t open to the world and to cultures. I would have been, ‘Yo! Who are you? Give me your money.’ You couldn’t have a guy like Chris walking through Marcy. He’d have to get robbed. At best.”
Luckilly Chris Martin didn’t grow up in the same area as Jay-Z and they are now both successful.
