Hip-Hop Release Dates For The Rest Of 2011
The Hip-Hop community can agree that J. Cole has taken the spotlight for the past few weeks with anticipation of his debut album, “Cole World – The Sideline Story“. Now that it has dropped, the next few days will be all J. Cole lyrics and talks all over social networks like Twitter and Facebook. Then we are going to soon realize, “What new music is coming out next?”
Well, good folks over at Hip-Hop DX helped ya’ll out with that. They were kind enough to put a calender of what is next to come out in the Hip-Hop game.
On October 4th, we have two albums to look out for. We have the release of one of the greatest MCs to ever walk this planet, Mister Styles P, with his release of “Master Of Ceremonies“. It’s set to be a true hip-hop album. Something that real lyricism lovers can truly enjoy with a 40 oz. in their hand and just bop their heads to the beat. The other album is Maino‘s, “The Day After Tomorrow”. We haven’t heard about this project but I’m sure it would live up to Maino’s great persona and work craft.
Then on October 5th, it’s basically declared “Harlem Day” for Hip-Hop as Cam’ron & Vado release their “Boss Of All Bosses 3” EP. This album is set to make the winter a little more edgier as the flow of Vado & Cam are in-frangible. I just cannot wait for this one.
On October 11th, 2011, DJ Drama will be putting out a power-lineup of Hip-Hop artists on his new anticipated album, “Third Power“. The Altanta-based DJ has a serious lineup on this album. It features J. Cole, Wale, Vado, Cam’ron, Wiz Khalifa, Roscoe Dash, Maino, Meek Mill, Freeway, Young Chris, Future, Chris Brown, Pusha T, French Montana, Gucci Mane, Red Cafe, 2 Chainz, Crooked I, B.o.B., Akon, and Big Sean… This line up is on steroids. Sheesh!
Then exactly two weeks later, the album the whole nation will be excited about is Drake‘s “Take Care” which will drop on October 24th, 2011 (which is Drake’s 25th Birthday). The most highly-anticipated album of the Fall/Winter. With the movement of OVO-XO taking rise, people are excited about what Drake has cooked up in his r&b/hip-hop world especially with the production of Noah ‘40‘ Shebib by his side. Young Mula.
We also have the release of Wale‘s “Ambition”, Yelawolf’s “Radioactive, Tech N9ne‘s “Welcome To Strangeland”, Mac Miller‘s “Blue Slide Park”, Tyga‘s Careless World”, Childish Gambino‘s “Camp”, Mobb Deep‘s “Black Cocaine EP” and finally Young Jeezy‘s “TM:103″. These albums are set to give some iPods some life with new music to bump to. The Fall/Winter is not over yet. It might be a ‘Cole World’ this week, but things are just starting to ‘heat up’. We ♥ Hip-Hop.
