First Week Sales for The Weeknd’s ‘Trilogy’

November 21, 2012 · Posted in news · 6 Comments

The Weeknd’s re-released project Trilogy fell short of projected sales, but still did fairly well.  Projected to have 95-105k sales for its debut week, the three-part album moved 90k units, landing it #4 on the charts (according to XclusivesZone).  So yes, although the sales didn’t reach their highest potential, it is still pretty impressive with there being only three new tracks added to the three previous free projects.

Did any of you buy Trilogy?

Do people realize all of these songs but 3 were released for free a YEAR AGO? I swear weird emo kids will buy anything.

@Mike R, it’s called supporting an artist…i guess you don’t remember Drake selling So Far Gone minus most of the best tracks from the mixtape and doing big numbers

I was kinda pissed at first becuase I had all of these songs already. Lol, but I’m for supporting the artists I listen to.
