Columnist Says Jay-Z Should Rename Nets To “New York Ni**ers”
Ouch. A New York Post columnist by the name of Phil Mushnick might’ve gone over the top in his rant when he called on Jay-Z to rename the Brooklyn Nets to the “New York Ni**ers.” He then continued by saying that, “the cheerleaders could be the Brooklyn B—-hes or Hoes. Team logo? A 9 mm with hollow-tip shell casings strewn beneath. Wanna be Jay-Z hip? Then go all the way!”
The anger stemmed from the Nets new team logo and colors, which Jay-Z designed. Jigga is part owner on the Nets, who are moving to Brooklyn next season. The columnist wasn’t feeling the new black & white colors. “What a shock that he chose black and white as the new team colors to stress, as the Nets explained, their new “urban” home,” he said.
What are your thoughts? Is this guy just being funny, or just being racist?

Racist. That’s fucked up. Fuck that guy. That’s not funny at all to me. You can joke about us blacks and say stuff about our fried chicken, watermelon, kool-aid, and shit even weed! If he’s from New Jersey then I understand his point. Jay-z helped take a 30+ year franchise out of New Jersey and he’s probably been a friend since childhood and now New York has 2 basketball teams.
But if this guy isn’t from New Jersey and he’s talking out his ass then he shouldn’t even be getting involved.
