With a management company that has a roster full of talent including Rihanna, Melanie Fiona, J. Cole and much more; Bridget Kelly is up at bat in the Roc Nation building. With numerous big shot performances at the MTV Europe Video Music Awards in 2009, Saturday Night Live, and even at the 9/11 Memorial Blueprint III Concert, she blew the crowd away by taking over Alicia Keys‘ vocals while doing “Empire State Of Mind“.

While getting her music all together within the past months, Miss. Kelly is ready to release her highly-anticipated EP, “Every Girl“. In that said, Roc Nation & Bridget Kelly invited KillerHipHop to a small listening session located in the Downtown NYC. As she introduced everyone with a great beautiful smile, acoustics of “Thinking About You” began to play and Bridget Kelly began to sing. The room just lit up with excitement and awe of what breathtaking voice Miss. Kelly brings to the table. Bridget also was kind enough to go around the room and introduce herself to every single blogger in her presence. She is a true artist and it she showed last night.

Prior to Bridget’s arrival, we were fortunate enough to here 3 songs from of her EP. The song’s were “Seek And Destroy”, “White Lies“, and a unknown track name that I was unable to grab information on. But listening to these three songs, it truly brought out the different personality Bridget Kelly brings into the R&B genre.

Kelly’s aggressiveness within each lyric frankly tells a story of pain and passion towards what she devotes to. And that is music. She also has a back up with a great cast of songwriters & producers such as Frank Ocean, The-Dream, Ne-Yo, James Fauntleroy II, and Shea Taylor. So right off the bat, this EP will be a guaranteed hit in the R&B industry.

If you want to see Bridget Kelly live on the day of the release of her EP, “Every Girl”. She will be performing at SOBS in NYC on October 19th, 2011 as part of the CMJ Music & Film Week.
