Astro is a beast. One of my favorite constants next to Marcus Canty & Rachel Crow.

Once hit makes it big time, all rappers will have a new opponent to go up against.

That was fire, no matter what his age is!!!
he said “I don’t need a pancreas to create insulin for me”

@shakil mirza, He actually said ” I can’t depend on my pancreas to make insulin for me.” Implying that he is diabetic.

    dj Reply:

@Confused, with that line he’s telling us that he has diabetes

@Confused, He’s diabetic… therefore his pancreas doesnt produce enough insulin for him…

@Confused, The whole line is “Enough with these sad stories, I don’t need to depend on my pancreas to make insulin for me” And he continues on about his street life. Basically what he is saying is that to do well and to get the energy and praise he needs on stage, he doesn’t need to depend on his pancreas to give him the energy to perform well (he is diabetic and one of the things you have to deal with when you are diabetic is your lack of insulin) and write amazing lyrics.

The line was “I can’t even depend on my pancreas to create insulin for me” That means he’s telling everyone he has diabetes. In the song he was talking about how he doesn’t share any sob stories like a typical contestant, like he shared he was homeless at one point. Kid is straight fire, hip hop is alive and well.

insulin enhances learning and memory and benefits verbal memory in particular

I think he was basically getting at being super human that he doesn’t even need his pancreas to function correctly to still be living :-)

Nothing else can create insulin in the body apart from the pancreas (type 1 diabetes)
