1 Peter 3:9
Y U mad Wayne? Mad that Pusha-T called you a wicked man? You just had to put a clappin’ to that boy? Why didn’t you put a clappin’ to 50 Cent or 40 Glocc? You only gave 50 Cent a little jab on “Louisianimal” (“All about a dollar fuck 2 quarters/ Bitch I pour syrup in that vitamin water”), and here you are dedicating an entire Swizz Beatz produced song to Pusha-T because he might’ve dissed you on “Exodus?” Not even Jay-Z got an entire song. He got 2 bars! Birdman always said that Wayne didn’t respond to disses because he was too busy making money. Since we haven’t heard any original music since C4, and he’s not touring, I’m guessing that Wayne has gotten a little bored with his board, so that’s why he’s dissing dudes like Pusha-T. This beef will only benefit Pusha-T & G.O.O.D. Music, no matter the outcome. I wish you would’ve kept quiet Wayne. “Goulish” was disgustingly ghoulish.
What is Lil Wayne doing dissing Pusha-T? Jay-Z didn’t pay him any mind so he stoops down to Pusha’s level? Don’t get it confused though. Pusha-T of Clipse is dope, but he hasn’t established himself as a solid solo artist. He’s no Big Sean or Kid Cudi. All these people jumping on #TeamPushaT or #TeamGOOD can’t even name 3 solo Pusha-T songs. On the other hand we have Wayne, an established hip-hop superstar. Before I get any further, take your emotions out of here. No matter how much you dislike Wayne’s content, you can’t deny that Wayne is much more established than Pusha-T, by a milli. If you were to go out in the street and ask 100 people if they could name 1 Pusha-T song without Kanye West, you would find out that you just wasted your time. As far as hip-hop equity goes, Pusha is nowhere near Wayne. I’m not necessarily saying that Pusha is a bad rapper either. I’m just saying Lil Wayne is too big for this. Weezy should’ve never stooped to his level by going head to head with him. Wayne is in a lose-lose situation while for Pusha it’s a win-win. Don’t tell me Pusha-T ever gets published on Time or CNN? Thanks to Wayne, he was. Weezy doesn’t even need the publicity. All he needs to do to gain relevancy is drop a few tracks and he’s back in people’s mouths.
Now on to “Goulish.” I think the next installment of Deaf•initions got a lot better thanks to Wayne. The track was shit, weak stomach. Except for the 1st 2 bars, and last 2 bars, nothing with any importance was said. Wayne was boasting like it was any other track. Why would Pusha-T care about Wayne being on Trukfit? He should’ve said something about his face, or his hair, or his music, or anything that wasn’t whatever he was saying. You see, in a diss track you’re supposed to criticize the other guy not talk about Trukfit and your imaginary banana clips. Although I didn’t like the overall contents of the diss, I have to give him props for actually dropping a name! That was very bold, and rare. “Goulish” sucked as a diss track, but at least it was a diss track unlike “Exodus” that was just a bunch of subliminal lines.
In the end, this is probably just another over-hyped beef that isn’t going anywhere. Everybody gets all emotional and imagines this huge war between G.O.O.D. Music and YMCMB. I don’t think Kanye West is dissing because he’s learned from Jay-Z, and he’s probably too cool for that. Big Sean is out of the beef because Nicki Minaj gave him his greatest hit. Plus, he’s had the chance to diss Drake in the past and he’s returned his beef back to the kitchen everytime. Big Sean has always been cool with Drake and he’s not a battle guy. Right now, if someone from G.O.O.D. disses Wayne, they also diss Drake, and I don’t see Sean dissing Drake. Kid Cudi, Common & Cyhi are probably the only members good for a beef, and Kid Cudi is just, if not more emotional than Drake. Lil Wayne & Drake versus Pusha-T, Kid Cudi, Common & Cyhi isn’t my definition of a good beef. Therefore, because of politics, I don’t think we’ll see a G.O.O.D.-YMCMB war. So chill out people. Hey Pusha, I also have a bible verse for you, “do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.” But screw the bible right? Use it only when you need it. Don’t be nice to Wayne. Right now you need the publicity. I’m just sayin’. Ha-ha ha-ha-ha, said in my best Biggie voice.
