November 18, 2011 · Posted in documentary, mixtapes, Music, upcoming, Videos · 8 Comments

Read this date slowly. Decemember. 5th. 2011. That’s the day where the whole hip-hop community will realize who Los really is. His lyricism is stupendous, his flow is remarkable, and has a great humble personality. This guy is going to be huge. Just remember who introduced Los to you KHH readers.

The video above is the official trailer of the mixtape, which would be entitled, The Crown Ain’t Safe. All original records hosted by DJ Drama and DJ Ill Will. Features on the ‘tape will include Cory Gunz, DMX, XV, Twista and more. A cameo by Meek Mill is also visible in the trailer.

The song playing in the video is a track produced by Reign and features soul singer, Sean Hayz.

Be on the lookout for this mixtape when it drops. For sure!

No label deserves him. I don’t want to see him get held back at YM. I think if he fits anywhere it’s MMG. He would get quality production there too which he needs. He can murder any beat (Roman’s Revenge/Dark Fantasy/Hustle Hard) but his original stuff is disappointing. I could see him going in over some Maybach bars though and he could fit in with that crew.

i somewhat agree with you, but i take into consideretion the influence mmg had on wale, and i would not want that to happen with Los his skill is too much to waste. In terms of freedom, i’d go with shady (look at the creativity in yela’s album) but i don’t really feel as if he would fit there.

it would all point to GOOD or roc but i jst don’t see either happening. how long did it take for us to get cole’s album? and when the hell will we get elecs, even though he’s said he’s done?

Yeah if he goes ROC we will never see a release date, and I don’t see him meshing with anybody at GOOD.

The negative influence MMG had on Wale (and for the record, I like Ambition) had more to do with lyrical content than flow or anything, and it’s not like Los is currently rapping about a lot of backpack material. I just think Ross is the least likely of the bawses to hold him back so he doesn’t outdo himself.

As an inspiring music artist myself, I must say I’ve BEEN hip to the talent Los holds. From first hearing shooter I knew he was the truth and if there were to be an award for the most talented slept on artist for the PAST 3 YEARS, it would be him. Just had to say that before the hop ons and dick suckers got a hold of my man. Do your thing Los.
