Kendrick Lamar’s Real is probably one of my favorite records off of Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City. Terrence Martin, the producer of the track, goes into the studio and reveals the magic on how the record came about. Martin, in addition, says Dr. Dre did some touches on the the instrumental as well.

–> really, it’s like the corniest hook on the entire album, sounds like KDot spent 2 minutes to think about that hook, the song’s not bad, but it’s the only one on the album I’d change
