I had doubts after ‘hammer dance’ & ‘throw it away’ , although they needed tracks like that for the radio etc.
but this tracklist looks great, all popular lyricist as features-> smart choices ;)
    This won’t dissapoint :)

Em is on the album. Great I been waiting to hear some new verses from him.

Why did Throw It Away ft Swizz Beatz & My Life ft Ceelo Green make the album they were awful. But I’m still going to listen to it when it comes out.

Idk man..kinda iffy about this. B.o.B,ceelo green, skyler grey n Swizz beats just sounds like sellout to me. Ehh we’ll see. Before anyone calls me a hater I’ve purchased there previous album n I’ve paid to see them live so kill me for not being a stan

    @MosDef,
I don’t like hammer dance & throw it away neither, but they need those songs to appeal to a bigger mainstream audience.
I don’t think the rest of the album will sound anything like those singles.
    They’ll still deliver ;)
b.o.b. is 1 of the best lyricists of the new generation (look it up if you don’t know :) ) & will translate itself in bigger record sales ;)
Skyler grey is pretty dope on a hook & again same arguments as above
This track list actually cleared the air for me :)
I just hope Eminem didn’t make most of the beats & just executive produced it

true hiphop fans will appreciate this album. if ur a pop fanatic or looking for cut giggles and baby words listen to young money trash. this is real hiphop for fans that dont want to hear lyrical good hearted rap music, without the rape and nonsense gang violence referrences.
all the bitches on this thread that have bad things to say about the singles that have already dropped can suck a donkey cock. this band is an example of real hiphop with members who have real hiphop talent unlike young money which is a bunch of nerdy niggers that got signed by a drug addict rappest.

i’m sick of the way music is devolving. hiphop needs this album! if it aint slaughterhouse 50 or jay’z it aint hiphop and if it aint hiphop or new era techno its garbage 3rd world bullshit.

fuck tunechi and anybody that loves him

@THE INFAMOUS SIEGE, You don’t know what you’re talking about. I don’t care about this album too much and am looking forward to Blu, Saigon and Fashawn to drop their new music. Are you gonna still bash on me for my Hip-Hop taste? Slaughterhouse aren’t the same to me anymore.

    MosDef Reply:

@Luminous Story, I kinda feel wat you saying about slaughterhouse not being the same. Ill wait to listen to confirm though..blu new project well definitely have some soulful beats you know exile is hard on the beats

@THE INFAMOUS SIEGE, If you were a “true” hip hop fan you would know that hip hop has never been in a better position

    THE INFAMOUS SIEGE Reply:

@Curt, hahah that a bogus statement, first of all the “game” has gotten so down that kanye and jz released a blasphemous album in which they talked only about niggers in paris and how the game needs to be held down. secondly wizzle aka tunechi baby is running around signing every retarded motherfucker who can make two words rhyme together and producing albums with nothing but synthesized rock instruments and autotune… u tell me that hiphop was destined to be that and ill slap u in the face with a led zepplin album.
rock n roll didnt need hiphop to become rock n roll so if hiphop is devolving back into rock then what was the point of it in the first place?

    [Reply]

    MosDef Reply:

@THE INFAMOUS SIEGE, Ima have to agree with @Curt on this one hiphop is still good right now. OBVIOUSLY not if you listen to radio shit hence you mentioned wayne lol It is in a better position now with albums like control system from Ab Soul Live from the underground Big Krit La coka Nostra dropping there album along with snowgoons and also Reks dropping TWO albums this year. Kendrick coming out with his this year. OC and Apollo brown dropped a sick album as well. You got Blu coming with new shit i mean the list goes on and on with dope shit! Hiphop looks good to me, so stop hearing wack shit and you’ll probably change your mind too..

    Curt Reply:

@THE INFAMOUS SIEGE, Damn one little sentence and I get a whole paragraph lol? There are more artists that make hip hop what it is other than Kanye, Jay-z, Eminem, and Wayne loll. I don’t really get what you’re trying to tell me though. The only thing I can think of is that you’re just talking out of your ass. Because no one makes you listen to those artists. There are a lot of artists out there that don’t get the recognition they deserve. Mos Def covered some of the artists I’d of told you so read his comment again and write down all of there names haha. You probably don’t even know who TechN9ne is lol

When will people learn to stop anticipating to avoid let downs? Just take the music as it comes. If you don’t like it you don’t have to try and tell the world. Just don’t listen to it
