X to the Z flew out to Iraq and shot the music video for the title track off his upcoming album dropping on November 4th. Aside from shooting his music video, Xzibit met troops and even gave them 2 live performances. The “Napalm” video directed by Matt Alonzo is set to drop on Tuesday.

Slaughterhouse took over L.A.’s El Rey Theater last night. The crew performed tracks off the upcoming album and their On The House mixtape with Dj Drama. Up top, Joe Budden performs “Weight Scale.” After the break, they perform “Hammer Dance,” “Throw It Away,” their Shady 2.0 cypher, “My Life,” and then they bring out XZibit and Ras Kass for the finale. Video: Xzibit Speaks On New Album ‘Napalm’

Our friend Sumit from The Hip Hop Chronicle managed to grab a interview with Xzibit.

Xzibit explained that his first album since 2007 will be called ‘Napalm’ and is around 60% done. It is due for release at the top of the year.

He stated that he filmed a video in Iraq while doing a documentary and show for the troops over there.

Xzibit also spoke on working with Monster Headphones for their gaming division and the first time he met Dr Dre and Snoop.

A couple days ago Xzibit tweeted, “planking was a way to transport slaves on the ships during  the slave trade”. X is making a spurious correlation between slavery and planking.  There is absolutely no correlation between the two; planking comes from a different origin.  At best, it is simply a coincidence. How did Xzibit even come up with this idea? Let’s get educated.
