Tyga’s ‘Careless World’ Debuts At #4
Tyga’s sophomore album, Careless World: Rise of the Last King has risen to #4 on this weeks charts with a total of 61,000 albums sold, according to HDD. Earlier projections had T-Raw selling around 85,000 in its first week, but the album recalls must’ve had a bigger impact than expected. Ahead of Tyga, were Adele (of course), Whitney Houston’s Greatest Hits, and Fun’s Some Nights.
Other Hip-Hop acts in the top 20 included Chiddy Bang’s debut album Breakfast at #8 with 30,866 units sold, and Drake’s Take Care at #13 with 25,757 albums sold this week.

Tyga’s ‘Careless World’ First Week Sales Projections
According to HDD, Tyga’s Careless Word: Rise Of The Last King is expected to sell a solid 70K-80K copies in its first week. Take note that these are all digital sales since the album was pulled from stores just days before its release due to an unauthorized Martin Luther King sample. Either way, these are still solid numbers for Tyga.
Chiddy Bang’s Breakfast debut is expected to move around 30K-35K in its first week.
In related music news, Adele is expected to stay at #1, making this her 22nd week at the top spot. 21 sold an approximated 300K copies this week, adding to the 7.3 million albums sold so far.
