araabMUZIK Shot After Attempted Robbery

Producer araabMUZIK is in hospital recovering after being shot last night in an attempted robbery. His manager DukedaGod posted the above picture on instagram and his friend Avatar Darko took to twitter to confirm the news.

A statement to Billboard read:
“Rumors have begun to circulate and first and foremost, we want to let everyone know that AraabMUZIK is currently alive and well,” AraabMUZIK’s camp said in a statement. “He was out in his neighborhood last night with friends and unfortunately the victim of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He is recovering now and police are investigating the crime. We appreciate all the concern and fan support and Araab is looking forward to a speedy recovery and returning to the stage as soon as he can.”
This could have easilly been bad news but fortunately the talented producer survived and we wish him a pleasant and fast recovery.
R.I.P. Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly Of Kris Kross

Sad news has come through that Chris Kelly, one half of the rap duo Kriss Kross has passed away at the age of 34. He was discovered unconscious in his Atlanta home. No official cause of death has been announced.

“It is with deep sadness that we announce that our beloved Chris Kelly has passed away on May 1. To millions of fans worldwide, he was the trendsetting, backwards pants-wearing one-half of Kris Kross who loved making music. But to us, he was just Chris – the kind, generous and fun-loving life of the party. Though he was only with us a short time, we feel blessed to have been able to share some incredible moments with him. His legacy will live on through his music, and we will forever love him.”

Kendrick Lamar Shoots “B*tch, Don’t Kill My Vibe” Video
Kendrick Lamar ventured to the hills to shoot the video for his new single “B*tch, Don’t Kill My Vibe” on Tuesday. The West Coast rapper held court in all white as he filmed the scenes outdoors and inside a mansion. Not only was he joined by his TDE family, but also by some of his other famous friends including Juicy J and comedian Mike Epps.
“Me and Kendrick Lamar on the bitch don’t kill my vibe the makin of the movie Tde entertain,” tweeted Epps (@TheRealMikeEpps).
The shoot was kept under wraps, but a few photos have surfaced online, one tweeted by Epps.
The fan favorite appears on Kendrick’s debut good kid, m.A.A.d city and has already spawned a remix with Jay-Z.
