Columnist Says Jay-Z Should Rename Nets To “New York Ni**ers”
Ouch. A New York Post columnist by the name of Phil Mushnick might’ve gone over the top in his rant when he called on Jay-Z to rename the Brooklyn Nets to the “New York Ni**ers.” He then continued by saying that, “the cheerleaders could be the Brooklyn B—-hes or Hoes. Team logo? A 9 mm with hollow-tip shell casings strewn beneath. Wanna be Jay-Z hip? Then go all the way!”
The anger stemmed from the Nets new team logo and colors, which Jay-Z designed. Jigga is part owner on the Nets, who are moving to Brooklyn next season. The columnist wasn’t feeling the new black & white colors. “What a shock that he chose black and white as the new team colors to stress, as the Nets explained, their new “urban” home,” he said.
