Here comes the newest video off of Ricky Rozay’s 2012 Grammy nominated album God Forgives, I Don’t. The MMG Mogul pairs up with his teammate Omarion to give us a sneak peek of the upcoming visual for Ice Cold.
What better way for an artist on the rise to spend their birthday week than to release a surprise mixtape to their fans? MMG rapper Rockie Fresh will be releasing The Birthday Tape sometime this week. Until then, check out this new track featuring Rozay and Lunice.
Let us know what you think. Will you be downloading The Birthday Tape?
After being the target of a 100,000 signature petition by Women’s Rights group UltraViolet, (which ultimately brought an end to his gig with Reebok) Rick Ross has finally issued his formal apology for his controversial “rape” lyrics on Rocko’s U.O.E.N.O.
Check out the MMG Mogul’s apology below.
“Before I am an artist, I am a father, a son, and a brother to some of the most cherished women in the world. So for me to suggest in any way that harm and violation be brought to a woman is one of my biggest mistakes and regrets. As an artist, one of the most liberating things is being able to paint pictures with my words. But with that comes a great responsibility. And most recently, my choice of words was not only offensive, it does not reflect my true heart. And for this, I apologize. To every woman that has felt the sting of abuse, I apologize. I recognize that as an artist I have a voice and with that, the power of influence. To the young men who listen to my music, please know that using a substance to rob a woman of her right to make a choice is not only a crime, it’s wrong and I do not encourage it. To my fans, I also apologize if I have disappointed you. I can only hope that this sparks a healthy dialogue and that I can contribute to it.”
Since the controversy, not only has Ross been crossed out by Reebok, but Rocko has also removed his verse completely for the radio version of the song. Wiz Khalifa has now been chosen as the latest feature for “U.O.E.N.O.” and a new remix of the song is expected to drop once a week for the next five weeks.
What do you think about the apology? Is this the right move for Ricky Rozay? Let us know.
J. Cole went against his word today when he decided to announce the newest (and hopefully final) release date for his sophmore album, “Born Sinner.”
“Born Sinner” was originally set to be released on January 28 but was delayed once Cole decided that he would need more time to record. Interestingly enough, the Roc Nation rapper will now share a release date with Wale for his newest album, “The Gifted.” Both Cole and the MMG MC have arguably taken their places as two of the greatest lyricists of today.
With that being said, there’s no doubt that we should expect to see a head-to-head competition when it comes to album sales for the two artists.
“Born Sinner” and Wale’s “The Gifted” are set to be released June 25.
Which one will you cop first?

With the recent release of Self Made Vol. 2, the street buzz MMG has caused is truly a great set up for the next Rick Ross project “God Forgives, I Don’t” . The rap game is cautiously curious about what Rick Ross will deliver on this LP.
Today, the Bo$$ decided to release the official tracklist of “G.F.I.D.”

On June 26th, The Untouchable Maybach Empire will release their follow up to last year’s Self Made album. Vol. 1 saw a lot of success in tracks like “Tupac Back,” and “600 Benz.” Even then, the album only sold 58,000 copies in its first week. But sales didn’t discourage MMG because they’re back with Vol. 2. The album features Nas, Bun B, T.I., French Montana, T-Pain, and Nipsey Hussle. Hopefully this album will live up to the hype sales-wise. Self Made Vol. 2 in stores June 26th. Pre-order here. Premiered by Complex.
