Lupe Fiasco caused a stir last night when he performed his anti-Obama song “Words I Never Said” at an Obama Inaugural Celebration show. He actually repreated the song for 30 minutes straight before the organisers got tired and had security kick him off stage.
The organisers released a statement explaining the course of events.
Big Sean and Lupe Fiasco Perform in Los Angeles on 10/17/2012
On Wednesday night, the 17th, Big Boy’s Block Party went down at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, CA. It was hosted by the Power106 DJ himself. Lupe Fiasco headlined the concert, but there were other big performances from Tayf3rd, Hit-Boy, Nipsey Hussle, and Big Sean. There was definitely something for everyone at this concert. While Fiasco may have been the headliner, Big Sean easily drew the larger crowd. He was energetic and engaging. His set featured songs from both his mixtapes and full-length. The high point of the night was when Big Sean brought out Tyga as a surprise guest. The crowd went wild! They performed “Do What I Gotta Do,” and then the Last King also performed “Faded.”

Video: Lupe Fiasco Explains Black Album Packaging & Reveals Location of Credits
Lupe spoke to Big Boy on Power 106 about why he chose a completely black album cover with a blank insert. He also surprised them by opening the back of the CD and showing them where the liner notes are hidden.
