News: LL Cool J Working On New Album

June 22, 2012 · Posted in news · 1 Comment

It’s almost been 4 years since LL Cool J’s Exit 13. The legendary MC has been busy working on business ventures and playing a role on NCIS: Los Angeles. But a few days ago, after announcing his business partnership with Sony, Cool James told XXL that he’s working on a new album.

As far as the album is concerned, it’s real authentic hip-hop, you know what I’m sayin? It’s 2012, so it doesn’t sound like it would sound if it were 10 years ago or 20 years ago, but it’s definitely official. It’s a breath of fresh air. It doesn’t sound like anything that’s out right now. I think it’s crazy. It’s the business. It’s real.
