Due to creative differences, neither of the Lady Gaga features ended up on the final cut for Kendrick Lamar’s Good Kid, m.A.A.d City. Gaga, being a woman of the people like always, has decided to share her demo version of “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe.” She even gave it a nice little visual. So we have to ask, which version is better?
A few months back, Lady Gaga tweeted about working with Kendrick Lamar on a track titled “Partynauseous.” Gaga said the track would appear on Good Kid, m.A.A.d. City. So when the GKMC tracklist dropped and Gaga wasn’t on the tracklist, a few of us were left scratching our heads. What happened to “Partynauseous?”
Mr. Kendrick briefly spoke about Gaga’s absence on GKMC while on The Breakfast Club earlier this week. “Me and Lady Gaga, we really good friends. She’s not on the album. We got some records, but when I was breaking down the bulk of the album, the ones we picked, we set them aside for future reference,” he said. But now Lady Gaga has taken to her blog to give us a more detailed explanation as to why she’s not on the album. Gaga blamed creative differences, but she promised to let us hear the track on a separate project. Read Lady Gaga’s statement down below. As for Good Kid, m.A.A.d City, it drops on October 22nd.
Lady Gaga couldn’t hide this collabo’ with her best p-p-p-poker face. But thankfully it never came to that because earlier this morning she told her 24 million twitter followers that she was working with the young Compton MC. Gaga and Kendrick were seen together a few weeks back at the Pitchfork Music Festival and it looks like they decided to take their friendship into the studio. The record is called “Partynauseous” and according to Gaga, it will drop on September 6th.” good kid, m.A.A.d. city in stores October 2nd.
I am so excited to announce that a record I’ve been working on has now become a collaboration with
@kendricklamar for HIS ALBUM.
