The idea of documenting the behind-the-scenes of what really goes on in Hip-Hop and the music industry is very interesting. N.O.R.E. and Geno Sims took that idea and started filming. What you see in this video is NSFW but surely gives you an eye opening of real behind-the-scenes life of a famous rapper during the late 90s/early 00s.
There’s random bits of Big Pun, KRS One, Eminem making crank calls, Snoop Dogg at his most misogynistic, a chubby 50 Cent coveting NORE’s then-new Skytel 2-way pager…There’s Jay-Z and Amil, Capone in prison, De La Soul….and at the 2:25 mark, we see Cam’ron shopping his new 17-year-old artist Juelz Santana to Chris Lighty (RIP) and his staff. News: Ja Rule Being Released In February
Ja Rule is almost home. Well at least according to his website. RuleYork.com recently made a post saying that Ja Rule was being released on February 21, 2013.
Ja was originally expected to serve 2 years for weapons and tax evasion charges. He turned himself in in June of 2011. While in jail, he released his 7th studio album, PIL 2, and has obtained his GED.

Ja Rule went to an NYC courtroom to hand himself in to begin his prison sentence.
Ja Rule was sentenced to 2 years for weapon possession and will be sent to Rikers Island before being transferred to another facility.

Ja Rule Responds To Prodigy’s Book On Alleged Robbery
Sway from MTV showed Ja Rule a excerpt from Prodigy’s controversial book where he claimed Ja was set up to be robbed by his good friend Cadillac Tah.
Ja reacted by saying that he didn’t know anything about that. The previously upbeat Ja Rule seemed to change tone and become reflective on the situation.
