Ice Cube Speaks On New Album ‘Everything’s Corrupt’

Ice Cube is currently finishing work on his 10th studio album, Everything’s Corrupt. He sat down with XXL and revealed that the album is 70% done.

Speaking on the album title he says it’s, “kinda self-explanatory in a lot of ways. It’s everywhere we look, it’s just like corruption has seeped in,” he says. “It’s a shame, but it’s true. This whole world is about the almighty dollar. The record is really just really speaking on that. There’s a title track that really goes into it. The record is just that West Coast hardcore hip-hop; it’s really what fans of mine have kinda been accustomed to, so I ain’t about to change.”

The West Coast O.G. also broke down several songs on the project.

The only thing worse than a corny rapper is an underrated rapper. Given the root of anger doesn’t stem from the same tree, I still detest both type of rappers. It’s just frustrating when such a great rapper is over looked. When talking about ”underrated rappers,” five names come to mind.
