November 1, 2012 · Posted in Business, news · 3 Comments

50 Cent took to Twitter to reveal that he has ended his relationship with Floyd Mayweather’s The Money Team. In a series of Tweets earlier this morning Fif’ stated that “TMT is Over”.

“TMT is over. The money team is no longer a team. So it’s SMS Promotions…that’s it, that’s all. I’m no longer a part or down with TMT Promotions. If anyone wants a Money Team jacket, I’m selling mine for a dollar. The snapback hat comes with it. That’s a fair price. I moved the fighters to SMS Promotions ’cause the other half of ‘the money team’ didn’t put up their money.”

The Money Team was boxing promotions company set up jointly by 50 Cent and his close friend Floyd Mayweather. Fif’ will now go it alone with SMS Promotions.

50 Cent Calls Out Manny Pacquiao At CES

January 13, 2012 · Posted in news, Videos · 1 Comment

As you may know, 50 Cent, and Floyd Mayweather are real good friends. So while promoting his SMS Audio headphones at this years CES, 50 brings out Floyd, and calls out Manny Pacquiao.

FYI Pacquiao’s camp has accepted Floyd’s challenge but will not fight him on May 5.

Pacquiao’s financial adviser Michael Koncz told The Associated Press on Thursday that a 45,000-seat boxing arena being built in Las Vegas won’t be finished before the end of May and staging the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight in a smaller venue is “foolish from an economic standpoint.” The MGM Grand seats about 17,000, which could fetch around $20 million in sales, but the larger arena could raise an additional $30 million, Koncz said. “Why would I tell Manny to fight on the 5th and throw away a percentage of 30 million? That’s crazy,” he said. Top Rank promoter Bob Arum has told the Philippines’ GMA television the only reason the fight won’t happen is if there is an “economic problem.” He said the fight “could happen very, very easily” at the end of May — enough time to build the outdoor arena “the fight so badly needs.”

So now they’re fighting about the date, and the venue. Will this fight ever happen?

I don’t see what I fell in love with,” he says. “So now I gotta make music that reflects what N.W.A made. I have to make music that has the moments that Nas had. I have to make music that has what Biggie offered.” He also discusses his currently untitled fifth solo album: “For me, I’m still up against what I’ve done,” he says. “So in order to top it, I know it’s a difficult task. You know, I see the bloggers. My audience hasn’t grown with me. They keep saying, “Aw, man, I want the old 50!” ’Cause those people, it would take them on a safari. I was bringing them close enough to the animals, without being able to get hurt. I was taking them into my neighborhood, where you can very well get your ass killed.

You’re Killin’ Me: Floyd Mayweather Jr.

September 20, 2011 · Posted in reviews, you're killin me · 34 Comments

Thank you Mayweather! Thanks for “rapping” or else I wouldn’t be able to YKM your cheating ass. Although you make a weak rapper, some fools would still consider you a rapper. So you’re legally YKM eligible. Your rap skills are not the topic at hand though. What’s killin’ me is what went down Saturday night during your fight with Victor Ortiz. That’s not a knockout by the greatest boxer alive, that’s a cheap shot by the dirtiest fighter alive.
