Drake’s “Started From The Bottom” Goes Platinum!
The “Champagne Papi” may have Started From The Bottom, but from the looks of it he’s gotten pretty comfortable sitting at the top of the charts. Drake went on Instagram late last night to announce his new title as “Plat Papi” after the lead single earned him yet another Platinum plaque by surpassing the mark for a over million copies sold.
As of now there is still no official release date for his latest EP, Nothing Was The Same. However, Drake was sure to drop a bar in his 2011 joint Headlines that would let us know his work was not to be rushed, “I just take my time with all this shit, I still believe in that.”
So go ahead and take your time then, Drizzy.
Congratulations to the entire OVO team!

Video: Snoop Lion – No Guns Allowed (Ft Drake & Cori B)
Snoop Lion joins forces with his daughter Cori B and Drake for the visuals to his positive Reincarnation track “No Guns Allowed”. Premiered by Noisey.
“It’s a powerful song and we hope to spread a positive message that hits home with people,” says Snoop Lion. “We’ve seen too much bloodshed involving guns and we want to prevent the next incident from happening. That’s what’s it all about, trying to bring awareness and push love and peace.”
With footage from the recent Sandy Hook massacre the video is hard hitting. Drake also tributes the song to Joshua Yasay and Shyanne Charles who died in the crossfire of a shootout at a community barbecue in Toronto.
