“You probably think that it’s too far to even have to care,
well take a look at where you live what if it happened there?”

Wavin’ Flag was originally recorded by K’Naan off his album “Troubadour”.

The song has been re-recorded as a Haiti tribute and features the likes of Drake, Justin Bieber, Kardinal Offishall, Avril Lavigne, Jully Black, Sam Rovebers and Nikki Yanofsky.

I have started compiling the lyrics below but need your help to name some artists and fill in the gaps. I have numbered the artists I need so please drop their names in the comments and I will update.

Cash Money slash Young Money are arguable the hottest rap label around at the moment. They have come a long way since their humble beginnings.

“Came from the gutter, lookin like my motha,
made it to the goal line, straight out the huddle”

Weezy is the MVP of the group. As you can see he was a fresh faced boy before the tats started creeping up his face.

“Like a sprained ankle boy, ain’t nothing to play with!”

This is a much better quality version which someone filmed off TV. The commercial features Boi-1da (Boy Wonder) who produced “Forever” and his sound engineer 40.

This is the coolest Sprite Commercial ever. Drake performs his banger “Forever” in the studio when some outta-this-world sh-t happens to him. Check out the video above.

This commercial is currently showing in US cinemas and will preview on TV during the Superbowl.

This video will drop exactly one year after his mixtape “So Far Gone” was released and he was thrust into the spotlight. He’s come along way in a short time!

Check out behind the scenes footage of the video shoot after the jump.

Lil Wayne, Eminem and Drake Perform Drop The World and Forever at the Grammy’s

February 1, 2010 · Posted in Music, Performance, Videos · 5 Comments

Eminem and Lil Wayne performed “Drop The World” together for the first time at the Grammys. They were then joined on stage by Drake to perform “Forever”.

“Last name ever, first name greatest,
like a sprained ankle boy I ain’t nuttin to play with!”

One of the best bits of this performance was when Eminem was rapping face to face with Lil Wayne (1.57). “The game aint gonna be the same on the day that I leave it”. It’s like those words were directed straight at Weezy and he was backing up.

Also on stage was Travis Barker who killed the drums on this performance. They also all managed to censor themselves for TV.

Kanye didn’t make the performance because he is apparently in a creative space in the studio.

If you want to know what they really say read the full Drop The World Lyrics and Forever Lyrics here.

What did you think of this live performance?
