Straight Outta Brooklyn! JoeyG. of the Hip-Hop Collective, The Humanauts, releases the visual for his latest single “Zooted”. The hazy, trancing video illustrates his reunion celebration with a familiar friend.
Take a cinematic look into the first chapter of his upcoming mixtape, NOSPACE and experience “Zooted” here.
The video captures a raw and trippy emotion of a day in the life of this Brooklyn emcee making the perfect picture storyline come to life. NOSPACE is expected to drop this October. Stay tuned to his SoundCloud for more.
JOEYG. the acclaimed rapper and leader of Brooklyn’s Hip-Hop collective, THE HUMANAUTS, just dropped his latest “joint”, “ZOOTED”.
Since the last time we saw JoeyG., he brought out the soul in us with his music. With this new record, “Finally” (which he sampled CeCe Peniston – Finally) JoeyG. is letting people know that his time in the rap game is on arrival. Many artists and entertainers in the beginning of their career go through loneliness and struggle. JoeyG. delivers is the reality of knowing exactly where he wants to be the end of the road either if people will be there or not.
Happy Birthday JoeyG.! Shout out to Matt Bernal!

New Jersey’s hip-hop scene is very limited right now. Joe Budden & Redman are the only relevant rappers still walking around this game. As the new generation is emerging onto the scene, a Cuban by the name of Willy Gonza from the streets of North Bergen, New Jersey has been the talk of the town lately.
Just as when your imagination fills up to its potential, there comes along a filmmaker by the name of Ashley Smith. When the record, Devil Is A Lie by Rick Ross ft. Jay Z dropped, the social sphere began throwing their remarks about devil worshiping, illuminati, and etc. That isn’t what Ashley Smith is trying to showcase. Behind every song, you develop an imagination of what the mirror image of that record could display. This film brings such a deeper meaning to what Rozay & Hovito are spittin’.
I discovered this short film, and believe it was only right to showcase it to our readers. Probably one of the best (if you want to make it in blog terms) “fan made” videos I have seen in a minute. Priest Hov is probably my favorite! ha!
Check out Ashley Smith’s wesbite here for more videos and his rendition of Drake’s 5 a.m. in Toronto.

Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Son-Ray is the lyrical embodiment of perseverance and ambition. With running his own business in GID Radio & entertainment, Son-Ray still finds the time to rock the studio to deliver this KILLER project, Face Value EP. This 6-track EP includes great production from Black Tearz, S. Dot, P. Dot, Mo Good, Lil Miff & J. Bonez. The EP includes as well, two features by SkyZoo & Babieqirl. My favorite track has to be Nows The Movement, this instrumental filled with nothing but soul gives the audience a clear port to what Son-Ray is about.
